On occasions, my creative ideas for a photoshoot stem from a captivating location. In this instance, I found myself inspired by the exquisite backyard of a friend from my church. Intrigued by the possibility of utilizing this picturesque setting, I approached her with the concept, and to my delight, she embraced the idea. With her consent, I began mapping out the details and envisioning the possibilities for this shoot.
Naturally, my inclination was to delve into the realm of fashion for this endeavor. After selecting a talented model, assembling a skilled team, and curating five looks, I embarked on this creative journey. Accompanied by my supportive husband, Hasani, who captured behind-the-scenes footage and photos, our two daughters also joined us on set, soaking in the experience. As a mother, it is empowering to pursue and embrace my dreams while having wholehearted support.
